PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a penetration implement and method used for magnetic prospecting which can perform the magnetic prospecting and improve working efficiency, without digging up probing holes. SOLUTION: Penetration tip rod 1 and splice rod 3 are pressed perpendicular and driven near basic pile 4 of a measuring object. Scale detection sensor 5 is installed for detecting the scale 2 formed in the perimeter of the intrusion tip rod 1 and the splice rod 3, and each magnetic field strength of x-axis direction, y axis direction and z axis direction is measured respectively, at the scale detection timing ordered by the scale detection sensor 5, in a direction parallel to the driving intrusion tip rod 1 and the splice rod 3, by a three-dimensional magnetic sensor 10 fixed to a hollow part of intrusion tip rod 1.
