PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical disk device that protects electronic components on a wiring board from static electricity generated in a disk tray, prevents data transferred with an optical disk as a medium and a signal from being damaged in advance, and prevents performance and reliability from deteriorating. SOLUTION: In the optical disk device 1, the disk tray 2, where a recording medium D is loaded, advances and retreats in a chassis case 10 for loading/unloading. Electrostatic shielding layers 17, 18 are formed on the rear of the part of the disk tray 2, where the wiring board P onto which the electronic components S1, S2, S3 are mounted.
