INJECTION MOLD AND ITS MANUFACTURING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To hold a movable mold with respect to a fixed mold in an accurately positioned state in an injection mold. SOLUTION: In the injection mold constituted so that a cavity 4 filled with a molten resin is formed between the fixed cavity member 6 provided to the fixed mold 2 and the movable cavity member 9 provided to the movable mold 3 which advances and retreats with respect to the fixed mold 2 to be opened and closed, a pair of fitting members 15 and 16, which are fitted to each other at the time of mold closing and regulating the relative position of the movable cavity member 9 with respect to the fixed cavity member 6, are respectively provided to the fixed cavity member 6 and the movable cavity member 9. The movable cavity member 9 is held to the movable mold 3 through an interposing member 20. This interposing member 20 comprises a foamed metal and permits the displacement of the movable cavity member 9 when it is displaced in the direction crossing a mold opening and closing direction by the fitting members 15 and 16.
