PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a garbage treatment apparatus which is easy in cleaning and maintenance. SOLUTION: First agitation blade-fifth movable crushing blade 14, 15, 16, 17, and 18 are fitted to a cylindrical housing 13 to be unitized.The first agitation blade-fifth movable crushing blade of a crushing unit 11 are fixed to the housing by C rings 20. By detaching the C rings, the five blades are taken out from the housing to be disintegrated. By taking-out the crushing unit from the hopper of the garbage treatment apparatus, safety during the cleaning of the crushing unit can be secured, and the corners which has been difficult to be cleaned so far can be cleaned.
