PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve body liquid transfer characteristic to an absorber in a body liquid absorptive article for absorbing and holding body liquid in a paper diaper, a sanitary napkin, etc. SOLUTION: In order to adjust the absorbing characteristic etc. of the body liquid by providing a pressed recessed part (d) at an absorber 1, the body liquid absorptive article has the pressed recessed part (d) formed by embossing etc. on the side face of the back sheet 2 of the absorber 1 so as to prevent formation of a gap which hinders transfer of the body liquid between the absorber 1 and a member in contact with the side of its top sheet 3.
