An implement and a method for freezing and storing eggs, the implement (1), comprising a tube (2) for freezing and storing eggs formed of a liquid nitrogen-resistant material and a metallic tubular protective member (3) for protecting the tube (2), the tube (2) further comprising a body part (21) and a small diameter part (22) for egg storage having an inner diameter of 0.1 to 0.5 mm, wherein the tube can be heat-sealed at the tip of the small diameter part and on the body part (21). The tubular protective member (3) comprises a tubular part (31) storing the tip part of the small diameter part (22) of the tube (2) and a semi-tubular part (32) storing the portion of the small diameter part (22) not stored in the tubular part (31) and the tip part (21a) of the body part (21).
