The invention relates to a power supply device (1) for providing electrical auxiliary power in components of a wind power station existing in the form of wind turbines (10), power grids (22) and transformer stations (30). To this end, the power supply device (1) is equipped with a distributing unit (2). This unit draws electrical power for the components from the wind power station and, in the event of defined disruptions, draws power from the contents of at least one chargeable energy accumulator (4). The energy accumulator (4) is provided in the form of a gas tank (4), which can be filled with hydrogen and which is connected to an electrolysis unit (3) for water. The gas accumulator (4) is connected to a power generator (5) that is connected to the distributing unit (2).
