A digital image processing apparatus (100) and the method processing digital image by using this apparatus. The apparatus (100) comprises: a digital image data 1/0 unit (40), for being connected with a external storage equipment and obtaining digital image data from the equipment; a memory unit (20), for storing the digital image data received; a control unit (10), for controlling the conversion of the digital image data received so as to the format of the stored data is suitable for the memory unit (20), and for processing the digital image received according to the control commands from a user controlling input unit (50); a digital image display unit (30), for displaying the digital image which has been exported or processed by the control unit (10). The apparatus is a convenient platform for large number of ordinary consumers using digital technique.
