PURPOSE: A non-contact type brake is provided to obtain high environmental affinity of a vehicle by braking a wheel by electromagnetic force and to remove the need of such a braking support device as a pressure cylinder. CONSTITUTION: A non-contact type brake comprises a signal input part(20) sensing an analog input signal according to displacement of a brake pedal(10); an electronic control unit(30) properly controlling the received signal to an input signal and outputting an independent signal; and a braking part(40) producing reverse torque by the signal received from the electronic control unit. The braking part comprises an AC(Alternating Current) motor, a DC(Direct Current) motor, a stepping motor, and a linear motor.
