<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To maintain spacing between a photoreceptor and a development roller by providing disks for control while, when the development roller is positioned relative to the photoreceptor drum, an inter-shaft restricting means is not directly pressed to the photoreceptor of a photoreceptor drum. <P>SOLUTION: When toner is supplied from the development roller 32 of a development device to the photoreceptor drum 21 in the recording section of an image forming apparatus, a flange member provided with a gear 24 is inserted in each end of the cylindrical photoreceptor 23 of the photoreceptor drum. When the flange member is inserted in the photoreceptor, the disk for control 25 is mounted and held in such a manner as to be pressed to the end of the cylindrical body. In addition, in a position corresponding to the disk for control, the shaft 33 of the development roller 32 is also provided with the disk for control 33a.
