<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a color image forming method and a projection system. <P>SOLUTION: The method of forming a color image by assuring the rise time and fall time of image signal processing for a plurality of color bar formed in light valves is provided with a stage of installing at least one filter having a slit, a stage of scrolling incident light, a stage of using a color separator equipped with a plurality of dichroic filters and separating the light emitted from the light source by colors, a stage of forming a plurality of the color bars by coupling the light passing through the color separator and the scrolling unit by the colors to the respective other regions of the light valves, and a stage of forming black bars between the plurality of the color bars by adjusting the distances between the plurality of the dichroic filters or adjusting the slit width. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
