PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a disk unit having slot-in-mechanism realizing sure shutter opening and closing operation and highly accurate seating operation excellent in durability. SOLUTION: An engaging lug 4a is rotated counterclockwise around an engaging lug turning support shaft 4a1, an engaging lug tip part 4a2 is separated from an engaging concave part 3a to releases engagement relation. Thereby, a cartridge 1 is made free, can receive guiding operation of a cartridge sub-reference hole 1c of a circular cone shape formed near the peak of the sub-reference axis 5a without problems, an inner wall plane of the cartridge sub-reference hole 1c is not damaged by the sub-reference axis 5a by this guiding operation, and the disk unit having seaing operation being abundant in reproduction accuracy and durability is realized.
