PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a security device for automatically checking the abnormality of monitoring equipment while securing the privacy of a user. SOLUTION: This security device having a security set status and a security release status as a security status is provided with an abnormality detecting part for detecting equipment abnormality when only one of a crime prevention sensor and an image processing part detects change, an output control part for adding an image photographed by an image pickup means based on the detection of the equipment abnormality by the abnormality detecting part, and for transmitting an equipment abnormality signal through a communication line and an image output managing part for setting the transmission of the image through the communication line to a permitted status or inhibited status. The image output managing part sets the transmission of the image by the output control part to the inhibited status when the security status is turned into the security release status.
