PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a storage/transport member for storing and/or transporting a plurality of various commodities having a variety of shapes and sizes, which is capable of preventing encased commodities from being dropped by, for example, vibration or impact sustained during transport, which does not invite contamination not desirable for the commodities, and which is suitable, in particular, for precision parts such as optical parts or electronic parts, or the like. SOLUTION: The storage/transport member at least comprises a support body for placing, storing and/or transporting commodities whose surfaces to be supported are a plane, and at least the surface layer of the support body has a suction cup structure formed thereon having an opening in communication with the outside air.
