RESIN COMPOSITION FOR MOLDING AND APPLICATION AND NOISE REDUCING MATERIAL USING THE SAME

A resin composition for molding and application which comprises an aromatic polyester (a) and a magnetic powder (b), wherein the composition contains 10 to 500 parts by weight of said magnetic powder (b) relative to 100 parts by weight of said aromatic polyester (a); and a noise reducing material using said resin composition for molding and application. The resin composition is free from problems associated with precautions against noise using a ferrite core (its size is large since it usually has a cylindrical shape; it requires the protection by a resin case or molding due to its low strength; various types of ferrite cores are required for corresponding to various shapes of the articles to be reduced of noise), and further is superior to a ferrite core in the noise reduction (transmission characteristics) in a high frequency region.
