PURPOSE: A method and a system for offering a contents embedded avatar service on a wire/wireless Internet environment are provided to sell embedded contents having functions for discriminating/buying/playing the matched embedded contents, display an image matched with the embedded contents to an information area of a user, and play the embedded contents matched with an avatar if a user selects the displayed avatar. CONSTITUTION: A subscriber terminal(110) is equipped with a web browser for using the embedded contents service through the wire/wireless Internet(120). An embedded contents service server(130) sells the avatar as the matched image including information for the embedded contents to the subscriber terminal in order to discriminate/sell/play/manage the embedded contents, and controls playback/pause/status change of the sold embedded contents by a signal transmitted from the subscriber terminal. A database(140) stores subscriber data, the embedded contents, and the avatar, and is linked with the embedded contents service server. |
