摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lighting device for a fluorescent lamp and a bulb type fluorescent lamp capable of stopping a glow discharge rapidly, securely and with high safety at the electrode of an arc tube when a fusion is produced on the electrode of the arc tube. <P>SOLUTION: At the nearly central part of a back surface in a printed board 51, an nMOS-FET element 56 is surface-mounted. The nMOS-FET element 56 is arranged opposite to a chalk coil 52 sandwiching the printed board 51 therebetween. In the nMOS-FET element 56, leads 56a, 56b are formed therebetween, of which the lead 56b is situated somewhat deviating from the position opposite to the chalk coil 52 sandwiching the printed board 51. In a lighting unit 50, heat generated at the chalk coil 52 is transmitted rapidly and securely to the nMOS-FET element 56 by arranging the nMOS-FET element 56 and the chalk coil 52 in the above manner. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
