<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To automatically select the optimum printing quality for printing purposes only by allowing a user to specify the printing purposes. <P>SOLUTION: When a printing request is sent from a user, a user interface (UI) capable of optionally selecting at least two sort or more of printing purposes is presented, and after allowing the user to select printing purposes through the UI, a detailed printing condition suited to the printing purposes is proposed. When the user agrees the proposed printing condition, printing data to which the printing condition is added are prepared and transferred to a printer. Since the optimum printing quality for the printing purposes is automatically selected only by allowing the user to specify the printing purposes, complicated printing setting to be performed in each printing or the occurrence of setting errors is avoided. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
