MANUFACTURING METHOD FOR PATTERN FORMING BODY

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method for a pattern forming body capable of efficiently forming a highly accurate pattern having different surface characteristic in a short time by an easy method.

SOLUTION: The manufacturing method for the pattern forming body has a characteristic change layer forming stage to form a characteristic change layer whose characteristic is changed by the action of photocatalyst associated with energy radiation on a base plate for a pattern forming body having base material and a photocatalyst containing layer containing at least the photocatalyst and formed on the base material by a drying method, and a characteristic change pattern forming stage to form a characteristic change pattern where the characteristic of the characteristic change layer is changed by radiating the energy on the characteristic change layer.
