PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a greening material capable of well growing plants, without requiring for sprinkle water. SOLUTION: The greening material has a planting part capable of cultivating the plants, a water storage part capable of storing water content, and a water-leading means capable of leading water stored in the water storage part to the planting part, wherein the planting part and the water storage part keep available water in an amount of≥40 L/m<SP>2</SP>in total, and the water leading means leads the water at an average water leading speed of≤7.5 L/d per m<SP>2</SP>.
