<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To change the attitude of a vehicle to a front inclined attitude from a reference attitude when a driver is in a circumstance in which he desires descending of a visual field. <P>SOLUTION: When a traveling position of the vehicle is in a designated area and when it is in a front down area (determination at S2 is YES or determination at S5 is YES), a visual field descending time vehicle height adjustment command is outputted at S3. When the vehicle travels at a periphery of a school, a kindergarten, a park and a hospital, when it travels around a terminal end of an up slope in case where the condition of a road is changed from the up slope to a down slope and when it travels a road just before the down slope in case where the road is changed from the flat state to the down slope, the vehicle is determined to be in a visual field descending requirement area and the attitude of the vehicle is made to a front inclined attitude than the reference attitude.
