<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To input further many kinds of information while suppressing the increase in manufacturing cost. <P>SOLUTION: A base 13 capable of attaching and detaching various phicons comprises a connection part 61 connectable with a control device and a connection part 62 connected to the connection part 61 and connectable with a phicon. A request from the control device is supplied to the phicon through the connection parts 61 and 62. A position measurement part 64 and an attitude measurement part 65 measure the position and attitude of the base 13 in the coordinate system (Xm, Ym, Zm) of a magnetic field generator by use of the magnetic field generated by the magnetic field generator, and supply the respective measurement values to a measurement value output control part 63. The measurement value output control part 63 supplies the measurement values to the control device through the connection part 61 to calculate the position information and attitude information of the base 13 (phicon).
