<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a changing method constructing a new pipe by pulling out the existing pipe without excavating the ground surface. <P>SOLUTION: An elastic member 8 and a pulling rope 6 passing through the elastic member is inserted inside of the existing pipe 2a, the front end of the elastic member 8 is fixed to a position of the front end of the existing pipe 2a, a cylindrical compression member 52 is inserted in the vicinity of the end of the existing pipe 2a to fix the pulling rope 6, the pulling rope 6 is pulled from the front end side to compress the elastic member 8 in the direction of the length of a pipe to expand in the direction of a radius to adhere to a pipe interior wall, and the existing pipe 2a is pulled out together with the pulling rope 6 with frictional force to be generated. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
