PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a repair method for attaining the improvement of yield by improving crack disconnection caused by baking shrinkage at an open repair part in the repair method for repairing before baking, and to provide a method of manufacturing a member for a plasma display panel. SOLUTION: In the repair method for filling a missing part of a pattern including at least inorganic particles and resin, repair paste including at least the inorganic particles and resin is applied to the missing part of the pattern and an extension part in the pattern direction, and then the part to which the repair paste is applied is spot-baked for repair.
