PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To promptly start the content distribution and communication by promptly completing path setting when a user makes a distribution request and a communication (connection) request of the contents.

SOLUTION: This network system is constituted so that a network management device 4 is provided with a path calculation part 411 which previously calculates the data transfer path information which satisfies a specific standard periodically or at the time of generation of a prescribed event and a correspondence table creation part 412 which creates a correspondence table in which the calculated data transfer path information is associated with the service contents and network devices 11, 2 or 3 are provided with data transfer request receiving parts 54 which receive data transfer requests and path setting processing parts 53 which perform path setting processing to corresponding data transfer paths of the previously created correspondence table when the data transfer requests are received by the data transfer request receiving parts 54.
