PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drinking water dispenser which cleans, with a simple structure, unwanted bacteria having a possibility of going inside tube, without providing any special parts, when changing a vessel enclosing drinking water, and which does not waste pay drinking water by admitting cleaned drinking water into a hot-water tank without discharging. SOLUTION: A vessel 1 is provided comprising a water faucet cock 2 in which drinking water is enclosed. Tube 5 is provided whose one end has a water joint 3 that is connected to the water faucet cock 2 and whose other end is connected to a hot-water electromagnetic valve 4. When changing the vessel 1, the water faucet cock 2 and the hot-water electromagnetic valve 4 are closed, and then the water joint 3 is removed from the water faucet cock 2, after which the container is replaced with a new vessel 1 to whose water faucet cock 2 the water joint 3 is newly connected, and thereafter, the hot-water electromagnetic valve 4 is left open for a given period of time so that the second drinking water that has come in contact with the air in the tube is admitted into a hot-water tank 7.
