CAR BODY SKELETON STRUCTURE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively increase strength of a skeleton structure in a car body. SOLUTION: A reinforcing member 12 having substantially triangular closed cross section is arranged in a substantially polygonal hollow cross section 7 of a corner 3 where a front pillar and a roof rail are interconnected in the car body. Edges 13 and 15 of the reinforcing member 12 extend from proximities of respective ridge lines 8 and 16 of the hollow cross section 7 to a proximity of an upper ridge line 14 before the vehicle across the hollow cross section 7.
