PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of oxide superconductive wire rods capable of restraining increase of carbon concentration in a superconductive precursor and preventing swelling of the wire rods accompanying a heat treatment process, lowering of critical current, and bridging. SOLUTION: Superconductive precursor powder 1 is molded into a powder mold 2 in a globe box 11 in a powder molding process 201, and after heating and drying the powder mold 2 in a vacuum heating and drying process 202, the powder mold 2 is embedded in a first metal tube 3 inside a globe box 14 to make up a single-core material 4. A plurality of the single-core materials 4 are embedded in a second metal tube 6 in a globe box atmosphere (a multi-coring build-in process 205) to manufacture a compound material 7. The compound material 7 is put through a wire drawing machine 8 for drawing and a rolling machine 9 for metal rolling as needed to be made into a superconductive wire rod 10, and further, an oxide superconductive wire rod is completed by application of heat treatment or the like (a process 209).
