PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal display device which is superior in manufacturability, manufacturing cost, etc., by taking the liquid crystal display device and its whole manufacturing process into total consideration. SOLUTION: An active matrix type liquid crystal panel 2 is characterized in that: a pixel electrode 62 in a nearly parallelogram shape is formed in a matrix-shaped area which is encircled with couples of signal wires 72 and scan wires 74 and in a parallelogram shape in plane view; one of a 1st alignment axis and a 2nd alignment axis extends in a reference lateral side direction; and the pixel electrode 62 in the nearly parallelogram shape is arranged at a specified tilt angle to the reference lateral side R.
