PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to perform development processing of special photosensitive materials for which development processing and drying are not possible at a prescribed conveyance speed in the same manner as for ordinary photosensitive materials. SOLUTION: The conveyance of the photosensitive materials 27c in a development processing section 19 and a drying section 20 are performed by rotational drive shafts 67a and 67b. The rotational drive shafts 67a and 67b are rotated by a reduction gear 67c and a drive motor 67d. A clutch brake 67e is disposed between the rotational drive shaft 67b and the reduction gear 67c. In the case of the special photosensitive material, such as transparent photographic paper, which is lower in the conveyance speed during drying than the conveyance speed during development processing, such material is dried by performing the intermittent feeding to temporarily stop the photosensitive material within the drying section 20 by actuating the clutch brake 67e.
