PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rice transplanter reducing consumption of power such as noise or electric power by eliminating unnecessary operation of a blower. SOLUTION: A seedling planting apparatus 2 of a method for planting in a plurality of rows is freely liftably and lowerably installed connectedly to the rear of a self-propelled machine body 1, and a fertilizing apparatus provided with a delivering apparatus 23 for delivering a fertilizer, furrowers 24 for forming fertilizing furrows in a field according to the traveling of the machine body and charging the transported fertilizer into the formed fertilizing furrows, and a transporting means for transporting the fertilizer delivered from the delivering apparatus 23 to the furrowers 24 is provided. Furthermore, a pneumatic transporting means for transporting the fertilizer with an air stream produced in the blower 28 as a transporting means is installed and the blower 28 is composed so as to automatically stop by detecting nondriving that the delivering apparatus 23 is not driven.
