The invention discloses a method and device of port test of broad band access device in the digital subscriber broad band access system, characterized by comprising: A, send signal to downlink channel of broad band access device port in office device; B, uplink channel of the port receives the reflected signal and deals with the signal, then gets the test result of the port. The invention can realize the self test of broad band access device port without connecting exterior test device and adding maintenance personnel.
