The system has a container with an underside formed with two sidewalls extending in a mirror-symmetric relation and curved at radius, where distance between the walls is at a limit in a mid-section of the walls. Driving and guiding assemblies (4, 5) advance and guide the container along the transport path. Support plates support the underside and bear upon the walls in a force-locking manner for propulsion of the container. An independent claim is also included for a curve section for a transport system for advancing containers.
