The support holder has a base (2) fitted with a carrier part (1), made of an elastic spring material, which is curved upwards and which has an elongate reception slot (3) for the edge of the photograph, mirror or hologram (G), the longitudinal slot sides (4,5) each extending in an arc with the same curvature. The base of the support holder can incorporate a lighting device (16) for illumination of the photograph, mirror or hologram. An independent claim for a photograph stand provided with a support holder is also included.
