PURPOSE: A tread rubber composition for a truck or bus tire is provided, to reduce curing time without the deterioration of cutting resistance and chipping resistance, thereby improving productivity. CONSTITUTION: The tread rubber composition comprises 100 phr of rubber; 0.4-0.7 phr of sulfenamide and 0.2-0.4 phr of N,N-diphenylguanidine (DPG) as an accelerator; and 2-5 phr of 2,2,4-trimethyl-1,2-dihydroquinoline (TQM) as an antioxidant. Preferably the rubber comprises a natural rubber and a styrene-butadiene rubber in the ratio of 6:4 to 8:2. The composition may comprise further common other additives.
