<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a wind power generating system capable of enhancing efficiency and smoothing of output power. <P>SOLUTION: The system has a wind power generator and a laser aerovane mounted in or arranged near the generator. The direction and the speed of wind towards the generator is observed in advance by using the aerovane. Based on the result, the yaw angle and the pitch angle of the generator is estimated and controlled, thereby performing operation control for enhancing the efficiency of the system comprising the generator. Furthermore, there is provided an output smoothing device connected to the generator, and the power input/output amount of the device is estimated and controlled based on the estimated output value of the generator, thereby smoothing output throughout the system. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
