DATA REGISTRATION SYSTEM, DATA REGISTRATION METHOD AND PROGRAM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a data registration system having a specified security function to allow the presentation of an efficient time stamp service; and to provide a data registration method and program.

SOLUTION: The terminal 1-k of the data registration system stores a plurality of electronic data by corresponding the plurality of electronic data to a first hash function obtained by acting a hash function on each of the plurality of electronic data. The terminal 1-k selects the desired electronic data to be registered on a time stamp server 2, acts the hash function on a first hash value corresponding to the electronic data and generates a second hash value indicative of a message digest uniquely corresponding to the entire selected electronic data. The terminal 1-k transmits the second hash value to the time stamp server 2 to register the selected electronic data; and receives an identification number identifying the registration. The terminal 1-k adds the identification number to a record containing each of the plurality of registered electronic data and the first hash value for storing the identification number.
