<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To automatically generate a simplified action model while minimizing a calculation amount in a state keeping the original information of an action model as much as possible in a simplification method for simplifying the action model generated based on actions and the transition probability between the actions. <P>SOLUTION: This method comprises steps of: generating the action model based on actions and the transition probability between the actions; performing division, when the generated action model has one combination of actions when each action in the generated action model is integrated and then divided, and calculating respective evaluation values when it has a plurality of combinations; determining division of a combination having the maximum calculated evaluation value; and repeating the division until the divided action model has an instructed degree of complicatedness. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
