<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information management system and price calculation method which easily calculates a reduced price by combination of a commodity purchased in the past with a commodity purchased this time based on a purchase history. <P>SOLUTION: A commodity purchaser makes a POS terminal device 2 read a storage medium 1 when he/she pays the price of the commodity. The POS terminal device 2 sends an inquiry for whether or not the combination of the commodity purchased this time with the commodity purchase in the past is applicable to a discount by combination to a server device 3. When this combination of the purchased commodity is applicable to the discount by combination, the commodity purchaser pays the reduced price.
