<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display controller capable of enhancing visibility by rotating display contents. <P>SOLUTION: A CPU 31 develops display data onto a plotting area of RAM 33, detects the inclination of an operation panel 50 and rotates the display data which is developed on the plotting area in accordance with the detected inclination. For example, when the operation panel 50 is rotated by 90°in the clockwise direction, the display data is rotated by 90°in the counter clockwise direction.
