PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an X-ray image photographing system which can improve photographing efficiency by corresponding to various photographing modes. SOLUTION: An X-ray tube 2 for irradiating a subject H with X-rays is supported by an X-ray tube supporting mechanism in such a manner that it can move in the top and bottom direction and in the first cross direction, and also it can rotate around the second cross direction which is perpendicular to the first cross direction. The X-ray detector 10 having an X-ray detection surface 10a along the second cross direction is supported by an X-ray detector supporting mechanism through a stand 11a, in such a manner that it can move in a top and bottom direction and the first cross direction, and also it can rotate around the second cross direction.
