PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an absorbable article which can absorb to a liquid absorption holding layer by concentrically and rapidly drawing a liquid in a central absorption region surrounded by impressed recess parts. SOLUTION: A liquid acquisition layer 18 formed of an airlaid nonwoven fabric is provided between a surface sheet 21 and the liquid absorption holding layer 17. The liquid absorption holding member 17 is formed by laminating a lower side absorption sheet 14, an intermediate absorption layer 15 and an upper side absorption sheet 16. Since the liquid acquisition layer 18 and the intermediate absorption layer 15 are positioned on a region surrounded by the impressed recesses 24, 24, the liquid imparted to this region is rapidly absorbed to the intermediate absorption layer 15 through the liquid acquisition layer.
