PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic control device for engine control which can improve the heat dissipation of heat generated by a heating element. SOLUTION: A surface state for improving infrared absorption efficiency treated by black painting or the like for instance is formed on an internal surface of a cabinet R (in detail, on an internal surface 30b of a casing 30 and an internal surface 20b of a cover 20). Hereby, electronic parts 11 having heat generating capability of a semiconductor switching device or the like which is mounted on a substrate 10 of the electronic control equipment for engine control 1 can lower heat generation temperature in such a manner that the amount of heat transfer to the cabinet R by radiation heat can be improved by the surface state improving the infrared absorption efficiency of the internal surface of the cabinet R.
