PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a capacitor which can obtain a stable characteristic by alleviating a thermal influence of spot welding and soldering and also can reduce a manufacturing cost. SOLUTION: A lead member 4 is held by inserting a plastic ball 5 fixed to one end of the lead member 4 into a core hole 3 of winding core 2. Thereafter, an end electrode 6 is formed by spraying metalicon metal to the end face of a capacitor element 1. With this metal spray, the lead member 4 is connected with the end face of the capacitor element 1. Since the spot welding and soldering are not used, deterioration in characteristic due to thermal influence thereof can be prevented. In addition, since formation of the end electrode 6 and connection to the end electrode 6 of the lead member 4 are performed in the same process, manufacturing cost can be lowered. Since the metal spray is conducted under the condition that the core hole 3 of winding core 2 is closed with the plastic ball 5, termination of both end faces of the capacitor element 1 can also be prevented.
