PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a disk conveying apparatus capable of effectively utilizing a space in the apparatus and being miniaturized, and to provide a disk device using the disk conveying apparatus. SOLUTION: The apparatus is provided with a disk holder 10 including a plurality of holder plates 11 each individually holding a disk D, a drive unit 62 for regenerating the disk D, disk selectors 41A, 41B each for forming spaces over and under a desired disk D by elevating the holder plates 11, and a drive base 60 for moving the drive unit 62 to the space formed by elevating the holder plates 11. The disk holder 10 is set such that the center of a hole 11a corresponding to a center hole of the disk D is located at a position shifted slightly to the left from the center of a disk insertion port 31 as viewed from a plane direction.
