PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an extremely-simple impurity (color center) analytical method of a fluoride, and the extremely-simple impurity (color center) analytical method of the fluoride capable of evaluating the effect caused by addition of a scavenger before acquiring the final monocrystal. SOLUTION: An acquired fused raw material is irradiated with an X-ray, and the transmittances before and after the irradiation are measured, to thereby detect an absorption peak or the like of the formed color center or the like. The high-purity fused raw material suitable for monocrystal breeding having a small X-ray damage can be bred by optimizing a fusing condition of the scavenger or the like based thereon.
