PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a body frame of a motorcycle capable of reducing body weight while ensuring rigidity and strength of the body frame, and of suppressing increase in manufacturing costs. SOLUTION: On a lower face of a head pipe unit 21 of a main frame 2a that requires high strength against shock loads from a road surface, a down frame member (reinforcing member) 30 with a U-shaped cross section having a connecting wall part 30a that is comprised of a forging product and a lateral side wall part 30b that continues to both edges of the connecting wall part 30a is arranged, such that an outer face A of an outer wall part of the connecting wall part 30a is positioned in a maximum stress generating side of the portion requiring high strength.
