PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make a recovery from a failure by operating two sites without conflict even when a network interconnecting the sites fails irrespective of the mode of the failure, in a cluster computing system with an operating system and a standby system. SOLUTION: The operating system and the standby system each have a wireless communication device, and when the wired network interconnecting the operating system and the standby system is entirely interrupted, the wireless communication device of the operating system communicates with the wireless communication device of the standby system to report the failure in the operating system.
