The invention relates to a method for producing propylene oxide, comprising steps (iii) and (iv): (iii) separating propylene oxide by distillation out from a mixture (G1) containing propylene oxide and at least one solvent whil e using a distillation column during which a bottom flow and a vapor flow essentially containing propylene oxide are obtained; (iv) compressing the vapor flow obtained according to step (iii) by means of at least one compressor while obtaining a compressed vapor.
