PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a polymerized toner in which filtration, washing and vacuum deliquoring are carried out while using a vacuum type belt filter in washing of colored polymer particles, lowering of yield due to mixing of colored polymer particles in filtrate and in waste water after washing a filter cloth is prevented, and the amount of a washing liquid used is reduced without degrading quality. SOLUTION: The method for manufacturing a polymerized toner includes a step of supplying a dispersion containing colored polymer particles to a vacuum type belt filter and carrying out washing. Filtrate of a gravity sedimentation zone and filtrate of a cake forming zone are returned to the top of a cake in a vacuum filtration zone, and in compliance with request, a waste washing liquid used to wash a filter cloth after separating the cake is used as a washing liquid for a washing zone.
